Degree of Denim came together over a few years and a few cities. Tokyo taught us what a fabric becomes when no one rushes it. Antwerp taught us restraint. Italy taught us that hardware has a sound. New York reminded us nothing matters if it can't be worn on a Tuesday. Los Angeles is where we work, but it isn't where the brand begins.
We started with denim because denim is the only fabric that keeps a record of you. Then we kept going, leather that softens into a second posture, knitwear and outerwear and accessories chosen the way you'd choose anything else worth keeping.
We source and work directly with factories in the US and internationally. The relationships are close and the standards are ours. Every piece is made the way we'd want to own it, with the materials we'd want to wear. If a t-shirt is meant to be cotton, it's 100% cotton. If a piece is built to survive years of washing without warping, we might use a synthetic, and we'll tell you why. Every material is listed on every product page.
Online for now. Rooms in Los Angeles and New York to come.
