Cross Waist Denim Skirt

The waistband is the whole idea here, crossed over on itself so the closure reads as a fold rather than a straight line. Two cargo pockets sit forward off the hip instead of flat against it, which gives an ordinary olive denim skirt a shape that behaves more like hardware than fabric.
